Sunflower cupcakesHey y’all! Welcome back to my blog! This week I made sunflower cupcakes. They were so yummy and so cute! The first thing I did, was the same as every week, and that was go to the store to get all of my ingredients and supplies I needed. I got chocolate cake mix, vanilla buttercream icing, chocolate chips, yellow sprinkles, and yellow food coloring. The first thing I did was make the cupcakes and while the cupcakes were baking I made the icing. All I did for the icing was take the icing out of the container and put it into a big mixing bowl. In the mixing bowl, I mixed in the yellow food coloring to get the perfect sunflower yellow. I then took out the cupcakes to let them cool and once they were cooled I piped the icing onto them. I then left a hole in the middle and put the chocolate chips in. Later I sprinkled on the sprinkles and I was done. These cupcakes were a success for sure! Thanks for reading! Bye y’all!

MOthers day cupcakesHey y'all! Welcome back to my blog. This week I made mothers day cupcakes since mothers day is right around the corner. My mom's favorite thing in the whole world is coffee so of course for her I made espresso cupcakes! They looked adorable and were very easy to make. First like every week I went to the grocery store to get all of the ingredients that I needed. There were a lot that is for sure! A couple other things I got to decorate the cupcakes were pink food coloring, piping bags, and edible chocolate pearls. When I got home I first set out the amount of ingredients I needed. I then mixed all of the dry ingredients like sugar and flour, and in a separate bowl mixed all of the liquid ingredients like eggs and vanilla extract. After whisking everything I combined them in a big mixing bowl. After preheating the oven and putting the mix in I started on the icing. For the icing I got vanilla cream cheese icing and put in a couple drops of pink food coloring to make it cute for mothers day. After that I used the same icing technique I have used for the past couple of weeks and put the icing in lines down on parchment paper and then put into the piping bag. I then set it into the fridge to cool and harden a little. The cupcakes were then done so I took them out and set them on a cooling rack to cool down. Once they were cool I iced them in a different pattern or technique. Instead of putting it into a swirl, I hovered the piping bag over the cupcake and squeezeed the bag and put the icing into a dome shape. Then I put on the pearls on top and they were done! This week would definitely be a success because they were so good!!! I hope you enjoyed and thank you for reading!
periwinkle fudgeHey y'all, welcome back to my blog. This week I made fudge. It was very simple and easy but also so very yummy. The first thing I did was go to the store to get all of the ingredients and things I needed to make this fudge. What I got was 24 ounces of white chocolate chips, 1/2 cup of heavy cream, and 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract. Some other things I got for decorating and looks were food coloring, pastel colored sprinkles, and gold sparkly edible dust. The first thing I did when I got home was combine the white chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and heavy cream into a mixing bowl and put it into the microwave in 30 second intervals. I did this around 4 times. While it was heating up I was mixing colors to find the perfect periwinkle color that I wanted. When everything was completely melted I added in the coloring and mixed that. I then took an 8 by 8 pan and lined it with parchment paper and poured in the melted chocolate. While it was still warm I put on the sprinkles and gold dust. I then put it into the fridge for a little while to harden and then took it out to put on the gold dust and make a fun pattern in it. After I put it back into the fridge to completely harden. After about 2 hours I took it out and cut into squares and gave it out for people to try. This week would be considered a success for me because it was so easy and quick to make but also so good and everyone loved them!
Spring Sugar cookie sandwichesHey y´all welcome back to my blog! This week I made spring sugar cookie sandwiches. I found this idea on Pinterest and they looked so good, so I thought I would try to make them! First I went to the store and bought all of the ingredients I would need to use to make these sandwiches. The ingredients I got were sugar cookie mix, colorful sprinkles, vanilla buttercream icing in a jar, food coloring, and piping bags. The first thing I did was make the sugar cookies and preheated the oven to put the cookies in. After about 5 minutes I put in the sugar cookies. As I let the cookies bake, I started to make the icing. All I did was take the icing out of the jar to put into a big mixing bowl. I put it into the mixing bowl so I could put in the food coloring. I made the icing light pink because I thought that was a very springy color. I also added in lots of colorful sprinkles into the icing. For the past couple of weeks I have been using the same icing technique to make the icing look very neat and clean. So I put the icing onto the parchment paper and then rolled up the paper to put into the piping bag. At first I put a tip on the piping bag to give the icing more dimension and shape on the cookie but that icing did not come out very well so I ended up taking off the tip and just piping it regularly. This ended up looking so clean and pretty. I then put the cookies together into a sandwich. I also wanted sprinkles on the outside, so I poured the sprinkles into a plate and rolled the cookie into the sprinkles so the cream on the inside would be covered. I would also consider this week to be a success because these turned out so soft and yummy and also looked so pretty and just the way I wanted them to look. Thank y´all for reading my blog this week and stay tuned for next week! Bye!
Spring cookie cakeHey y´all welcome back to my blog. This week I made a spring cookie cake. The cake was a little difficult to make but not as difficult as some of the last weeks. First I went to the grocery store to buy the ingredients. The ingredients that I got was two premade rolled cookie dough packs, vanilla cream cheese icing, white chocolate chips, spring colored sprinkles, and more piping bags with tips. The first thing I did was unroll the cookie dough into a circle cake pan. I put both rolls of cookie dough into the pan to make the cake pretty deep and I made the edges of the cake higher so there would be crust that I could apply the icing onto. The cookie cake took around 45 minutes to cook. While it was cooking I started with the icing. Last week for the icing I wanted a unicorn effect so I mixed the colors onto parchment paper. This week I did the same thing, not to make the icing different colors, but to make the icing apply more smooth and clean onto the cookie cake. While the cookie was cooling, I set it out and so the icing would stay hard I put it into the fridge. Once the cake was cooled I started icing. I took the icing and piped it into a rose shape along the edge of the cookie cake. After applying the icing I sprinkled the sprinkles onto the icing and inside the cake. Along with the sprinkles I put white chocolate chips too. I would consider this week a success because it tasted very good and looked very good. Thank y´all for reading and stay tuned for next week! Bye!
Unicorn cupcakesHey y'all welcome back to my blog. This week I made unicorn cupcakes with the help of my sister. They were so yummy but a little difficult to make. I went to Hobby Lobby and bought all of the supplies. The things I bought were icing, the cake mix, some food coloring in pastel colors, piping bags, and edible gold dust. First we made the cake mix. The cake mix was chocolate. Next we had to prepare the icing. The icing was the most difficult. The first thing we did was make the icing and them put it into different bowls. In the different bowls I added a different color. My colors were very pastel for the unicorn theme. The colors were yellow, blue, and pink. I then put the icing in rows on parchment paper and rolled up the parchment paper to put into piping bags. The icing turned out so cool on the cupcakes for it being my first time trying this technique. Lastly I added on the edible gold dust. I would say this week was a success because they looked really good and were exactly how I wanted them to turn out. Stay tuned to see how my sweet treat turns out next week. Bye y'all!
Golden dust cake popsHey y'all welcome back to my blog! This week I made vanilla cake pops with white and pink chocolate coating and gold dust on top. First I got all of my ingredients out and made sure everything was on. Then I made the cake mix and once the cake pop maker was heated up, I put the cake mix into the maker. While they were cooking I put the chocolate in the microwave and let it melt. When the cake was finished cooking I took a stick, dipped it into the chocolate and put it into the cake. I let the chocolate harden on the stick so it would hold the cake onto it {even though it did fall off of the stick}. Once the chocolate hardened I stuck the cake pop into the chocolate and then sprinkled the gold dust on them. Once all the chocolate hardened on the cake pops and they were dry, I put the ribbon onto the sticks. These were my hardest week for sure because the chocolate kept drying and hardening so I couldn't get the cake in. Another problem was when I did get the cake in, it fell right off of the stick and I could not get it out of the chocolate. My last problem was the gold dust was a lot harder than I thought to sprinkle onto the cake. So it took me a while to do the dust. Although these were hard to make, the cake pops did turn out looking good, so I would consider these a success!
It may look like a veggie...Hey y'all! Welcome back to my blog! This week I made browniesss! I absolutely love brownies so as we are quickly approaching Easter I took a twist on the brownies. I made carrot brownies. So the title of this is, looks may be deceiving, is referring to how they may look like healthy carrots, they aren't! They are the opposite. Unhealthy brownies. I have to say this week was very hard for me. The first reason was the mix I got took an extra long time to cook. Normal brownies take about 20 minutes in my oven and this week they took an hour, so it was definitely a long process. The second reason these were hard was because instead of just cutting the brownies into triangle carrot shapes I had to mold them. I did not let them cool long enough so I had to mold them when they were very hot. After molding I threw them back in the oven so they would harden just a little more. After cooking them a little more. I had another problem. The last problem was the icing. The icing was very hard to apply onto the brownies. Although they were hard they turned out looking really good and tasted even better! I think this week was a lot of fun but very time consuming.
Leprechaun dayHey y'all! Welcome back to my blog! For my treat this week I made something different than I have made the past couple of weeks. I made St. Patricks day truffles. They were so yummy and so easy to make. Each week as I go on I say that those are the best that I have made but I do truly think that these are the best that I have made so far. I am getting better as a go and having so much fun doing it. These truffles were no bake so that saved lots of time. Most of the ingredients were also found at home so I did not have to buy anything except some cake mix. All I basically had to do was simply add in a variety of different ingredients like flour, vanilla extract, and vanilla cake mix. So easy right? Right! I also had brought a few with me to school and let me friends taste test them and they loved them. The only thing that could make this any better is knowing that no problems happened this week. So this was a win win! Alright well I can't wait to show y'all next week what I come up with! Talk to you later!
Hoppin' Into easter This week I made some really yummy Easter cupcakes! The cupcakes are chocolate cake for the dirt, green icing for the grass, and mini Cadberry eggs on top for the Easter eggs. I found this idea on Pinterest and I thought that it was so cute! I also think this weeks cupcakes turned out the best. They were so easy to do and they looked really good! First I preheated the oven and made my chocolate cake mix. I cooked the cupcakes and gave them plenty of time to cool. Since I gave them plenty of time to cool, the icing went on really well. Lastly I added on the eggs. I love these cupcakes, because I love Easter and they look just like Easter. I also love pastel colors, so I think the eggs look very good on the green cupcake. I did not have any problem this week except, I tend to fill the cupcake liners too much and so the cupcakes are really big. Once they cool I will cut off the top of the cupcake so they are all even and look the same. So the problem was I made only 16 when I could have made 24 from all of the wasted cupcake mix I used. That is something I am going to work on next week. So far this is my favorite and best week!
